When in Davao City, try North Zen Basic Spaces

Travelling to Davao City for a couple of days but on a tight budget? Check out North Zen Basic Spaces. The hotel was originally designed to be dormitory for students, later the management decided to just convert it into a full hotel. So when in the third floor, do not wonder why every room has its own electric meters. :)

The hotel has really large lobby, each floor has enough space where guests can hang out, bring their laptops and work in an allocated tables and chairs.

The hotel has 42 rooms, 13 of which are single rooms, 12 standard double, 6 matrimonia, 4 Zen suites and 3 family rooms.

As for the rates, you pay as low as P720 per night of stay. Check in time is 2PM and check out is at 12 noon next day.

The hotel is conveniently located in Sobrecaro St., near corner Lapu-lapu St.

You can take a jeepney to G-Mall from the Airport and get off F. Torres street. Then get a tricycle to take you to the hotel. Don’t worry the local transpo operators here won’t overcharge you. :)

Here are more photos of the hotel.
