Bo’s Coffee is finally in General Santos City.
One fine day in October 2012, the coffee shop known for its “just roasted freshness” opened to the public its much-awaited outlet at SM City General Santos.
Formally inaugurating it were lovely GenSan City Councilor Nepthalie Natividad, subbing for Mayor Darlene Custodio, dapper SM City GenSan Assistant Mall Manager Hermon Hernandez, Bo’s Coffee Quality Assurance & Systems Development Manager Noel F. Inocia and Marketing Coordinator John Vincent M. Panes.
Also in attendance were members of the SoCCSkSarGen Bloggers, headed by moi who were the first ones treated to Bo’s Coffee’s various coffee concoctions, coffee alternative drinks and a wide array of heavenly cookies, delicious pastries, sinful cakes and yummy giant meal-sized gourmet sandwiches!
Bloggers Alexis Chua, Laurence Erojo and Erwin Bantilan enjoy their first taste of Bo’s Coffee’s treats.
The bloggers were pleased to find out that Bo’s Coffee source its coffee mostly from the mountains of Sagada, Benguet, Mt. Kitanglad in Bukidnon and Mt. Matutum in South Cotabato, thus helping the economy of their farm communities.
It also takes a shorter time for coffee harvested from these farms and roasted to perfection to reach any of Bo’s over 60 coffee shops all over the country. Being sourced locally, they are immediately sold and served to Bo’s coffee habitues.
Aside from its coffee and non-coffee beverages and sweety tooth treats, Bo’s also serves breakfast…
Bo’s Coffee’s outlet at SM City GenSan has a different look and feel compared to its older versions. Sporting an industrial theme, its furniture are a mix-match of hard wood and steel. And keeping true to its Cebu origins, it also features lighting fixtures from renowned Cebuano designer Kenneth Cobonpue.
Bo’s Coffee is open daily from 8am to past 1am midnight at its SM City GenSan.
