GoHotels has recently opened its Bacolod Property located at the back of the Robinson’s Place Bacolod. It was opened just a few months before the City held the annual MassKara Festival.
The design is is patterned after its main hotel beside the Robinson’s Pioneer in Mandaluyong city, using the yelow and green as its main color scheme. It has 108 rooms, 63 Twin and 45 Queen Rooms.
One of the things I love about the Go hotels Bacolod is that its warm and friendly staff. From the guards to front desk staff even the housekeeping personnel never fail to greet me when I’m around.
The room size is just Ok, not too big, but not to cramped. Theres a flat screen cabe TV for your entertainment. There’s also a complimentary Wifi access for the guest. speed is quite fast.
The bed is soft and comfortable. another thing I also like is that there’s a foldable desk beside the bed where you can place your laptop.
Bathroom is squeaky clean. although it’s a budget hotel, a complimentary shampoo and soap is already provided. But for a very minimal cost (PHP88+VAT) one can get the hotel toiletry kit that contains soap shampoo conditioner lotion etc. neatly packed in a small box. Each room is also provided with clean towels.
What makes Go hotels Bacolod fabulous is that at the ground floor are several shops that completes your stay experience. there’s the 21 Cafe, which is owned and operated by the famed Bar 21, there’s also a spa with very reasonable rates, a pasalubong shop, and a laundry/ dry cleaning shop. It’s virtually complete with all your needs! Add to the fact that the hotel is jst behind the shopping mall. Perfect, right?
And when you are in the hotel premises you don’t have to go far as the shops that I frequent are also in in the mall. There’s famed Calea Cakes and Pastries, Felicia’s Pastry Shop, and the Negros Showroom right at the Robinson’s mall. Everything’s right within the walking distance.
Another good point about the hotel is that it is very near the Bacolod North terminal, which will be your jump off point in exploring the old mansions of Silay and the Ruins in Talisay. From the hotel, it is also just one jeepney ride away going to the downtown area.
I got to stay at the hotel for 4d/3n and got the chance to sample the Cafe 21′s batchoy. Their batchoy is actually the same as of Bar 21′s. Really Good! Mouth watering!
So if you would ask me if I would stay here again, my answer is a resounding YES! Great accommodations at a great price. It’s all worth every peso spent! You know what’s good with GoHotels.PH Bacolod? you can get a room for as low as PHP388++
You can book now for your accommodation needs when in bacolod at www.goHotels.PH or contact 0922-GoHotel (4646835)/ 3988788. The hotel also has branches in Mandaluyong, Puerto Princesa, Dumaguete, Tacloban, and soon to open, Iloilo!
Many thanks to Sinjin Pineda and to Adi Ong!
